Explore Sicamous Geotour

What is a GeoTour?

Explore Sicamous GeoTour (GT4C4) has officially launched and is ready for you to get out and discover the 25 caches located around the community.

What is Geocaching?

Geocaching is a real-world, free outdoor treasure hunting game for all ages using GPS-enabled devices. Download the free GeoCache app onto your device and search for the Explore Sicamous Tour. Before you head out on the tour, grab your GeoTour Passport from the Sicamous Visitor Centre to log your progress.

Once you find the Explore Sicamous GeoTour (GT4C4) on the geocache app, participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates, read the clue and hint (if needed), then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location. Once you have found all 25 geocaches, log the secret code word (found on or inside the cache) in your passport and return it to the Sicamous Visitor Centre, or email the image/pdf to [email protected]. You’ll be mailed one of 200 collectable Explore Sicamous GeoTour silver coins (one per household), and on the last day of each month, all completed passports are entered into a draw for a local prize pack!
